Jenny laroche

Jenny Laroche, a B.F.A Cum Laude graduate of SUNY Buffalo and Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, is a broadway, television and film actress, director and choreographer.

Jenny is the Associate Director & Assistant Choreographer of New York New York Broadway nominated for 9 Tony Awards including Best Musical & Best Choreography, Director of Summer (Gateway Playhouse), and Associate Choreographer of SUMMER First National Tour. She began her creative career as Associate Director & Choreographer of Mariah Carey’s Christmas show at the Beacon Theatre and mounted the entire production by herself while Mariah completed her world tour.

Jenny played the recurring role of Sue in SMASH on NBC produced by Steven Spielberg. She began her career as a Radio City Rockette, making her big screen debut in the movie New Years Eve. Feature film credits include Tick, Tick…Boom! , Annie 2014, The Merry Widow HD Live, and Netflix special by Bill Murray, A Very Murray Christmas. She has worked with recording artists Beyonce, Mariah Carey, and Liza Minnelli. 

 Jenny originated the role of Norman Brokaw in the Broadway musical SUMMER. Other notable theatre credits include Pal Joey directed by Tony Goldwyn, the role of Clo-Clo in The Merry Widow MetOpera, directed by 5x Tony Award winner Susan Stroman, Annette in Can-Can at Paper Mill Playhouse, Suzanne Duval in Paint your wagon, Fly at Dallas Theatre Center.

Live television credits include The Tony Awards 70th anniversary, Jimmy Fallon, SNL40, America’s Got Talent, Best Time Ever, The Wendy William’s show, The Today Show, TVLAND Awards and the Billboard Awards

Jenny founded The Laroche Approach, a training program for professionals in the entertainment industry, and created a first-of-it’s-kind Song & Dance class. Trademarked by Laroche herself.
